Help our Hank

Hello, my name is Ryan. My girlfriend Allison and I adopted Hank almost one week ago. He is 6-7 year old Pomeranian! He has been the best boy and adapted very well to his new life with us and his two kitty sisters. We started to notice after a few days that he was having trouble urinating and could never really get comfortable so we got him into the vet as soon as we could. After X-rays and blood work we find out that he has stones lined all the way down is urethra and it was almost completely obstructed which was going to require and emergency surgery. He also has little skin tags on parts of his body, one on his back and front paw have been giving him the most trouble. They did a biopsy of the one on his back and luckily it came back negative for anything. The rescue claims they had no idea and that this is just what happens when you adopt an older dog. They said we could give him back, but they couldn't promise they would give him any kind of treatment. We aren't going to take that for an answer so we are going to help him cause it's what he deserves. All the money raised is going to go towards his surgery bills. We are very hesitant to do something like this but even with both of us working full-time this is a very large unexpected expense that we just can't do alone.
