Help our favourite karaoke star Malou SAVE HER BIG BROTHER

You may all know me from The Ginger Italian Restaurant, singing and dancing and making sure you all have the best time with us. This is a different side to me that many don't see, but I really wanted to share it with you, as I really need your help and support. Im finding it hard to tell you this but here goes...

As you may have guessed, I am from the Philippines and I grew up there with my sister and 3 brothers. We loved playing games in the street, especially when it rained because it would flood and we could go swimming! I moved to Spain when I was 27 to work in fine dining, which I loved and settled down to have a family. 11 years later the recession hit and I moved to the UK to try again, with my 2 kids and husband in tow. I started working at The Ginger Italian, Joe and I made a super team and I have never looked back.

It's been 11 years, finally, this summer I will have the chance to go back to the Philippines and see my family again. Unfortunately, I recently lost one of my brothers and have been given news that one of my other brothers are in hospital with heart complications, requiring a bypass. We are trying to support our family back home, the healthcare is not free, which we are so lucky to have!

I feel really awkward asking this, but I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. I need to raise about £5000 to pay for my brothers' medical bills and if possible to help cover day to day medication. It's quite devastating and I really hope that I will be able to see my brother when I get there and that his family will have him for the future.

I feel so uncomfortable asking for donations on this page and took a lot of convincing to do it but, I have to do everything I can to help my brother. Im grateful to have so many incredible people around me and lucky that I have an opportunity that others don't.
