<div>Since that day, we have been displaced three times—from Gaza City to Khan Younis, then to Rafah, and now back to the ruins of Khan Younis. We lost our home, our belongings, and even the little things that once gave us comfort. Today, we live crowded in a single small room with relatives, without electricity, water, privacy, or hope for normal life.

Crossing Rafah—if it reopens—will cost over $5,000 per person, not including rent and basic living costs that have become unbearably expensive.
