<div>Hi, my name is Shelbey, and I’m reaching out with hope and humility. My partner, Larry and I, along with our two young children (a one-year-old and a five-year-old) and our two dogs, are in urgent need of support to secure a new home or RV after a difficult housing situation left us with very little time and no stable place to go.

<div>We were living in a rental home that became increasingly unsafe and neglected. Despite repeated requests, our landlord refused to make necessary repairs. When we stood up for ourselves and our kids, the situation escalated. We took the matter to court on May 29th, 2025 hoping for a fair resolution. The court didn't rule against us, but it didn't fully support us either. In the end, we were ordered to pay half a months rent for May and given just 2 weeks into June to leave. Our court ordered date to be out is June 12th, 2025 at 5pm.

<div>On top of all this, our family vehicle’s engine blew during all of this, and Larry had to quit his job because he simply couldn’t get there anymore. Nor could we afford Uber everyday. Larry has since found new work and started a new job, but due to timing of start date, he won’t be paid in time to help us move. I have also been hired for a new position but haven't started yet. We’re doing everything we can to get back on track — but right now, we’re out of time and out of options.

<div>We’ve got kids to protect, dogs to care for, and not nearly enough saved up to cover move-in cost or buy a reliable RV — either of which would give us the stable home base we need to get through this.

<div>We’re both hard-working people doing our best to provide for our family. What we’re asking for isn’t luxury — it’s stability, safety, and a second chance.
