Hi, my name is Sherrie, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a humble spirit to ask for help for my family and me as we face one of the hardest seasons of our lives.
As a nurse, I’ve spent years working 60-hour weeks to provide a stable and loving home. I’ve always done whatever it took to care for others—both at work and at home. But back in November 2023, everything changed in a moment.
On my first night off in a long time, during a short trip I hoped would give me a mental reset, I suffered a serious fall and broke my ankle. Since then, I’ve undergone multiple surgeries and have been unable to return to work. I’m currently still out of work with another surgery scheduled, meaning I’ll be out at least three more months.
Because of this, my family has lost so much. We’ve fallen behind on vehicle payments, land payments, and living expenses. The life we worked so hard to build has been slowly slipping away, and we are doing all we can just to hold on.
We’re asking for your help to raise money, which will go toward:
• Catching up on vehicle payments to avoid repossession
• Saving our land, which we hope to build a future on
• Covering living expenses during the remainder of my recovery
It’s not easy for me to ask for help—but right now, we need it more than ever. If you can give anything, no matter the amount, please know it would mean the world to us. Even if you can’t donate, simply sharing our story helps more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We’re holding onto faith, trusting God, and believing that with your help, brighter days are ahead.
With gratitude,
Sherrie & Family
