We’re a close-knit, creative, and resilient family currently living in Arkansas, where anti-trans laws and discrimination have made everyday life a struggle. After facing persistent barriers in healthcare, employment, and social acceptance, we’ve made the difficult but hopeful decision to relocate to Colorado—a place where we can live safely, access affirming care, and build a better future for our kids.
Our family includes me, Finnley, a trans masculine nonbinary history lover and fencing enthusiast; my wife Artemis, a trans woman who finds joy in D&D, reading, and writing stories; our two wonderful children, Ellanore, a budding thespian who lives for musicals, and Charlotte, a snake-loving future scientist with a passion for all things scaly; and my little sister, Quyana, a gifted artist whose creativity brightens our lives.
This move is more than just a change of scenery—it’s a lifeline. We’re seeking support to cover travel expenses, temporary housing, and a safety net while we secure jobs and a permanent home. We’re deeply grateful for any help in making this transition possible, and we’re thrilled to share our story with a community that values love, safety, and belonging.
