Our family of eight is facing a difficult time after a recent flood severely damaged our basement and destroyed many of our essential appliances and belongings. The flood took out our furnace, hot water heater, washer and dryer, sump pump, and even our AC unit, leaving our home without heat, hot water, or air conditioning. With the local utility company forced to turn off our gas until the furnace is replaced, our living conditions have become nearly uninhabitable, especially during this season’s extreme temperatures. In addition to the appliances, we lost clothes, a TV, two bed sets, toys, personal items, and even our car. 
 
 
 
 Our household includes four children and two senior family members, all of whom are struggling with the current situation. We are doing our best to keep everyone safe and comfortable, but the lack of basic utilities and the loss of so many personal items have made daily life extremely challenging. While we are still waiting to hear what our insurance will cover, and we have received some support from our local community, it is not enough to address our immediate needs. 
 
 
 
 We are seeking urgent help to make essential repairs to our home and, if necessary, secure temporary housing while those repairs are completed. Any support will go directly toward restoring safe living conditions for our family and replacing the critical items we lost. Your generosity will make a real difference as we work to recover and rebuild after this devastating flood.
