Help our Dad's battle with Cancer

Mick is a 57 year old much loved husband, father of four and grandfather to three.
After numerous consultations with doctors regarding lower back pain, Mick was diagnosed with Renal Cancer in October 2015.
This devastating news followed a successful battle with Prostate Cancer in 2009.
Mick has always maintained a positive upbeat attitude, he would overcome this newest challenge , win this battle and will do everything in his power to be here with his family.
Treatment was commenced through Peter Mac, however this particular cancer does not respond to conventional treatments. Follow up investigations did not go as hoped and we were devastated with the news that his cancer was Metatastic and had spread to his lungs.
Fast forward to today after exhausting all avenues of treatment, he received the news that this horrible disease has spread, now into the liver. The last option for treatment to give him a chance to see his grandchildren grow up is a self funded immunotherapy treatment. This treatment comes at a massive personal financial cost- $44,000 per year ongoing.
Mick is the hardest working, most genuine, down to earth person you could ever be lucky enough to meet. He would do anything for anybody and expect nothing in return. Everyone who meets him is a better person for it and he is loved beyond your wildest imagination.
As you can imagine due to appointments, treatment side effects, the cancer itself and generally feeling unwell Mick has been unable to work and this in itself has impacted financially, and added to his burden.
Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated to help our beautiful dad and poppy receive the treatment he deserves . We are hoping to be able to help him with costs for his first year of treatment, to decrease his stress and let him focus on winning this battle.
