<div>I’m Jennifer Darling of Alverstoke Traders Association and we’re trying to raise funds to help the community of Alverstoke. Many homes and businesses have been deeply impacted by the floods this week with contents, fixtures and fittings destroyed.

</div>
<div>What people aren’t aware of is everyone has a flood exclusion in their insurance policies. So none of the homes or businesses are protected for these damages.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have an amazing supportive community in and surrounding the village and I’m asking for everyone to come together at this time and help those most in need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everything raised will be distributed among those worst affected. Every £1 will help and we’re grateful if that’s all you can give. We will publish all account details and where the donated funds go publicly for full disclosure and transparency.
</div>

</div>
<div>Whether you’re in a position to donate or not, just sharing this fundraiser on your socials would help enormously.
