Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my family. My sister and I both work full-time while caring for my two children—ages 7 and 17—who are both autistic. My eldest is also chronically ill, requiring frequent medical visits. On top of that, I’m chronically ill myself and have been battling sinus polyps for over 7 years, which are now causing permanent damage
 
 Between our health challenges and constant doctor, specialist, and ER visits, it’s a daily struggle just to keep going. Six months ago, we lost our home, and after an incredibly hard fight, we finally got back on our feet. But now we’re facing the terrifying possibility of losing our home again—we’re falling short on rent this month and are doing everything we can to hold on
 
 We’re not asking for help lightly. Any funds raised will go directly toward our rent to keep a roof over our heads and some stability for our family. We’re deeply grateful for anything you can give, no matter how small. Even sharing this means the world to us
