<div>First time living alone and I have discovered how challenging it is. I am very grateful for the independence and the privilege I have to be able to seek a second job currently, but as of right now, I am in urgent need of support. Sometimes putting my best foot forward isn't enough to pay bills, since I definitely have unaddressed mental health challenges that prevent me from living like a "regular" person. To my family, please have grace with me in this moment. Growing up, I have always had a hard time asking for help since I've been conditioned to always be as independent as possible, so please understand that this is a vulnerable and scary thing for me to do. No one can get through life completely alone! Though I may not be as strong or as capable as another person, I am always trying my best and sometimes need some assistance in life.

<div>update 3/30/2026: I'm so grateful for the overwhelming amount of support I've received. As of writing this, I have gone through legal action with the property management of my apartment and am now in urgent need of assistance. Tomorrow, 3/31, is the last day I am permitted to stay on the property until a sheriff comes and escorts me out, and if that happens, I will have nowhere to go. This place has been my safety and has given me peace. I am committed to staying here. I've moved every single year for the past 7-8 years of my life and I'm so exhausted and burnt out. It feels like I'm at the end of the line. I would like to settle at least for a bit longer. I've made my main goal on this fundraiser $50,000 as I need to pay back several months of overdue rent and to prove I can pay for future monthly payments. I know it's a huge ask and I would need a miracle right now, but please consider sharing with friends and family who can donate. Thank you, again, everyone, for your support.
