Hi, my name is Genevieve, and I’m reaching out for help for my best friend, Otto. For the past 7 years, Otto has been my loyal companion, my confidant, and my greatest source of joy. He’s more than just a dog—he is my world.

Unfortunately, Otto is currently in so much pain, is immobile, and cannot walk. He has been diagnosed with a spinal cord condition that is putting him at risk of permanent paralysis. The only chance he has to regain his mobility is urgent surgery to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord.

This surgery is Otto’s best hope for recovery, but it’s also costly, and I’m turning to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to help raise the funds we need to give him this chance.

Otto has always been there for me—whether I’m having a great day or a tough one, he’s been my rock. He’s always wagging his tail, showering me with affection, and bringing joy to everyone around him. It breaks my heart to see him in so much pain, but I believe with this surgery, he has a real chance at getting back on his feet.
