Help Orion Walk Again!

My dog Orion is 4 years old. I rescued her as a puppy while in college. She is the sweetest girl and such a light in my life.
Earlier this year, after a series of health problems, Orion was diagnosed with Lupus (Systemic lupus erythematosus). This is an uncommon autoimmune disease for dogs, and in her case it predominantly affects her joints and ligaments.
Over the past few months of treatment, my vets and I were finally seeing improvements in her condition until she tore both of her ACLs, causing a major setback in her progress.
With both ACLs torn, she is unable to walk (or get up) without assistance; let alone chase her ball or do the basic activities most dogs are able to enjoy. After consulting with my vet and a team of specialists, her only chance to walk again is a double TPLO surgery to repair her ACLs.
The $4500 cash goal of this fundraiser is the total cost of the surgery + rehabilitation. An amount which my vet, The Upper Arlington Veterinary Clinic, has already been kind enough to reduce.
I’ve truly struggled with asking this favor of my friends and family, especially during this time. I decided to go forward and ask for the help I need to give her a chance to enjoy her life again and just be a dog.
