Help Organ Donor's Family

My brother and sister-in-law just lost their only son in a sudden and senseless twist of fate, which is an unthinkable heartbreak on its own, but they have to put their grief on hold because of financial worries. Several years ago, my sister-in-law, Judy, was hospitalized and they racked up so much debt that they had to sell their home. At an age when most people are thinking of retirement, my brother, Edward, was interviewing for jobs in order to get out of bankruptcy. They moved to an area where housing was less expensive, but that meant being on the road 12 hours a day. They were working to get out from under their financial woes when a freak highway accident happened that completely totaled 3 cars and left him on disability, followed by unemployment and a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes. As if this wasn't bad enough, they were then served notice that they had to move out of their home. Michael, their youngest, had been living with them but found a friend to stay with and his parents checked into a motel. While at his friend's, Michael suffered a severe asthma attack and was rushed to the hospital; they tried everything they could, but in the end the parents lost their only son.

To find some meaning in this tragedy, Edward and Judy decided to donate 4 of Michael's organs for transplant in an effort to save 4 other lives.

Unfortunately, food and housing costs were tricky enough before this horrible loss, but now they're trying to grieve while worrying about paying for hospital bills, cremation costs, etc. Please donate what you can so this hard working couple can take some time to breathe and process their incredible loss.
