<div>Hi my name is Vanessa and my husband is the owner of Opticomics, here in Poway California. It’s always been a dream of his to own a comic book store. He’s always been that comic book nerd lol. He’s never owned a business but he wanted to start small and jumped in headfirst to get started. He didn’t want to be like the big name comic books shops and overprice things. He wanted it to be for the kids and have a place where they can get the cards and the comic books that they were looking for. On Sunday, February 13 at 5:30am, his dream of having his comic book store was shattered.  He was robbed!  All of his hopes and dreams ripped away from him due to a couple selfish people.  Unfortunately, with him being new and not business savvy he did not have insurance to cover the loss of the theft. It was suggested to us to make a gofundme to help recover some of the loss in the hope of him being to stay open.
