Act Now: Save the Skaik Family from Gaza's Crisis

Immediate Help Needed for Skaik Family's Safety

Dear friends,

I’m Mohamed Skaik, reaching out from Australia for family in Gaza. They don’t have access to create the GoFundMe account in that region so I will be transferring all donated funds directly to Omar’s bank account.

I urgently need your help for this family of 9 to flee the violence and get across the Egyptian border. The family is as follows:

Omar

Alaa

Muhammad (age 2)

Kareem (age 2)

Maryam (age 1)

Abduallah

Hanan

Abdulakareem

Salah

They are innocent people caught in a conflict, suffering greatly!

Critical Situation:

The Skaik’s family home was destroyed from the bombing that has left Gaza in ruins.

This family of 9 all share a space in Rafah with two other families.

Alaa is still breastfeeding her daughter and really requires more nutrition than she is currently getting.

Kareem, 2 years old, has a terrible 2nd degree deep burn. The family has made many dangerous trips to the hospital for medical treatment. They are currently trying to find more sterile bandages but as you can imagine, medical supplies are very sparse in Gaza.

Why we’re asking for your support:

This family’s journey from danger to hope is incredibly tough. Especially with three kids. They've lost their home in this conflict and now, more than ever, they need our collective support to start anew.

They MUST get out of Gaza for their safety NOW. Their fundraising goal of $60,000 reflects the following ways the funds will be needed and spent:

Broker fee per person to safely cross through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt ($5k-$10k per person. Fees subjected to change without notice at Egypt’s request)

Legal Documentation

Expenses for food

Shelter

Basic Needs: clothing, toiletries, etc

Medical expenses

The platform fees (about 2.9% each) of GoFundMe and PayPal or Western Union

Our Deep Gratitude:

Despite everything, the Skaik family hasn’t lost hope! Thanks to the possibility of kindness from people like you. Your contribution is a beacon of humanity and compassion in these dark times. We promise to update you on how your generosity is making a difference in their lives.

Together, we can save this family’s lives!

Your support now is critical. It’s not just a donation; it’s a lifeline to a family who are victims of a dire situation, offering them a chance at a new life in safety. Israel has stated that they have a date for their impending invasion into Rafah, time is running out to save these innocent, kind, loving people! Please help if you are able!

Thank you for your empathy and action.
