Help Offset the Cost of Medical Bills for My Son
My son, Edward, is currently undergoing various tests and procedures to determine what possible bone disorder he is suffering from. What began as pressure in his head, blurry vision, and loss of hearing has taken us in and out of hospitals trying to determine what is at the route of these problems. Doctors are exploring two bone disorders - Camurati-Engelmann Disease and Fibrous Dysplasia, but have not seen his condition before. It has been a long road and will continue to be an uphill climb to get Edward back on his feet. As a result, I have been out on medical leave from my job and between the lack of pay and the increasing medical bills, my family is in need of help. Anything you are willing to donate will go a long way! Thank you for all your support!
The Cash Family
Edward was discharged from the Hospital this past Saturday, July 6th. Despite his good spirits, it's been a big adjustment; he still has some swelling inside his orbits and therefore us unable to see. What has improved is the light perception and constricting of the pupils in both eyes. Doctors are hopeful and estimate 6 months to a year Edward's vision will improve, yet this will be a slow process. Genetics testing and the new pathology taken during surgery are still pending. We thank you all for your continued prayers as his journey to recovery continues. ❤
Edward is having a hard recovery time with the second surgery. We pray once the swelling goes down, he's vision will improve; for now we wait.
Finally resting after a rough painful night.
