<div>On October 27th, shortly after 9:00 AM, my father and uncle Octavio, were working cutting grass when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents unexpectedly approached them, requesting their identification documents. My uncle was apprehended, and we were provided with no information regarding his destination. My father was informed that if my uncle had no criminal history, he would be released, which was a lie. After several hours, my uncle contacted my cousin, informing her that he would be transferred to a detention center in Michigan. My uncle has resided in the United States for over 24 years and has established a family here. He has three children and a granddaughter. He has never been involved in any criminal activity. He was simply working like everyone else, striving to provide for his family. We are currently seeking financial assistance to support the legal proceedings that lie ahead. Any donation big or small and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

<div>El 27 de Octubre, poco después de las 9:00 a. m., mi padre y mi tío Octavio estaban cortando sácate cuando agentes del Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas (ICE) se les acercaron inesperadamente y les solicitaron sus documentos de identidad. Mi tío fue detenido y no nos dieron ninguna información sobre su destino. Le informaron que, si no tenía antecedentes penales, sería liberado, cual fue mentira. Después de varias horas, mi tío contactó a mi prima para informarle que sería trasladado a un centro de detención en Michigan. Mi tío lleva más de 24 años residiendo en Estados Unidos y ha formado una familia aquí. Tiene tres hijos y una nieta. Nunca ha estado involucrado en ningún delito. Simplemente trabajaba como todos los demás, esforzándose por mantener a su familia. Actualmente, estamos buscando ayuda financiera para cubrir los trámites legales que tenemos por delante.
