<div> This Go Fund Me page is dedicated to Ms. Mona Chivers and her beautiful, six year old French Bulldog, Nyla. Nyla is in need of emergency medical services. Nyla has been Mona's baby and furry companion for five years. She is a sweet and well behaved little Frenchie that makes Ms. Mona happy and keeps her good company in an empty nest home. Nyla is a super friendly, energetic and sweet girl that attends doggy day care in Marin City at Paw Palace Grooming five days a week. She is a beloved member of the dog pack there and a special girl. Nyla has been in great health until very recently. Ms. Mona noticed small changes in Nyla's behavior and actions. She took her to the vet immediately and then learned that the medical condition required deeper  assessment and immediate medical attention. Nyla has a hereditary eye condition that has left her completely blind in one eye and if untreated the other eye will be completely blind soon. Nyla may need long term eye care and at worst case scenario she might need surgery to have both eyes removed and eyelids sewn shut to ensure a higher quality of life and less pain. We hope to improve Nyla's eye health, a lower level of pain and long term care for such a youthful and happy pup. Ms. Mona loves her Nyla with her whole heart and wants the best medical care for her. Veterinary bills add up very fast and can be very stressful. In a time of need, I was hoping to call on our friends, family and community to support Ms. Mona Chivers who has been an educator in Marin City for over 36 years. She has been a long term resident of Marin City and a staple in the community. Ms. Mona takes such good care of her students and her community. I am hoping now is our turn to take care of her and her furry child, Nyla. Please donate what you can to alleviate the stress of high veterinary care bills and let Mona and Nyla spend many more years together.
