My name is Theo Eastwind and I'm the founder and creative director of the NYC Buskerball.
NYC Buskerball is an annual festival celebrating and supporting Buskers.
We promote 1st amendment rights and spontaneous performances in public spaces.
Freedom of speech is a luxury that we all get to enjoy in this beautiful country and Buskers defend that right everyday. Please support us, we are so grateful for your support!
The goal of this campaign is to raise enough funds to apply for non fo r profit status which costs about $5000.
(Lawyer fee's, accountant fees, application fees, there are a slew of expenses and time associated with filing for non for profit status)
$500 DONERS WILL RECEIVE A VIP TICKET AND ENJOY
- EXCLUSIVE USE OF OUR VIP LOUNGE,
- A 3 COURSE GOURMET DINNER,
- FREE DRINKS ALL NIGHT,
- ACT AS JUDGE FOR THE BUSKER-BATTLE.
About us:
The NYC Buskerball showcases the best Subway and Street musicians and promotes 1st amendment rights of Buskers to perform spontaneously in public spaces everywhere.
Buskers can be dancers, mimes, artists, poets, clowns, magicians, musicians, puppeteers, jugglers, acrobats, tumblers, story-tellers, and living statues. They can be sword swallowers, balloonists, fortune tellers, contortionists, escape artists, rope walkers, fire eaters, and more.
I have been a Busker since 1995 and created this event in 2012. With 12 Buskerball's under our belt we look forward to making #13th the best Ball yet!
