Nubs came into my life in March 2024. I heard about a friend of a friend hoping to re-home a stray they'd taken in, and I felt a pang in my heart. I'd wanted a cat for years and somehow I knew that this was the one for me -- we needed each other.

I adopted Nubs knowing that he was terminally ill. He was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia before I met him and was given only a few months to live when I adopted him. When I took him in, I braced to support him in hospice. Now over a year later, against all odds, he is alive and (somewhat) well!!

Nubs is my best friend and companion and I feel called to support him in the best way I can. I'm looking for your help in funding his palliative care as he lives out the rest of his life with me.

I am seeking funding to support the following care for Nubs (thank god there’s no HIPAA for animals):

Medications (monthly):

Cerenia - $80

Gabapentin - $11

Insulin, syringes, & monitor - $135

Chemo – $100 (started 5/22 thanks to you!)

Services (as needed to monitor symptoms):
