<div>Some of you may know us from adopting or donating to our charity, New Start Rescue Spain. For those that don't, we are a small animal rescue charity based in Granada.

<div>This Christmas, we’re asking for help for three stray cats who urgently need medical care: Rumi, Roman, and Noah.
</div>

</div>
<div>Rumi and Roman are a bonded pair who both suffer from severe eye issues. Despite care, Roman’s condition has deteriorated to the point where his eye now needs to be surgically removed to relieve pain and prevent further complications. Rumi also requires eye surgery so that she can finally live without discomfort.

<div>And then, we've got Noah.

<div>It's sad to say, but Noah is one of the worst cases of animal abuse we've seen. So much so, we can't actually share the photos to this GoFundMe!
</div>

<div>Noah was found abandoned in La Zubia, frightened, in pain, and covered in burns. At first, it was thought the injuries may have come from sheltering inside a car engine. When he was finally examined properly, the truth was far worse. These were boiling oil burns! These caused deep, painful wounds and left his fur all greasy.

<div>Noah is just a small lad, and currently he's in a lot of pain. He needs medication, careful wound cleaning, ongoing treatment, and, most importantly, a clean, safe place to recover. Without proper care, he may not survive.
</div>

</div>
<div>Sadly, these cases are not isolated. Abandonment and cruelty towards stray animals continues to happen across the globe. We can’t undo what has been done , but we can choose to help now.
</div>

<div>We know that Christmas can be a difficult time financially, and no one is expected to give more than they can. Please know that every single donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference. Running a small charity is difficult, but seeing how our 'residents' thrive thanks to the kindness of strangers always fills our hearts with joy, and reminds us that it's all worth it.
