Help Nova Faith’s recovery

Meet the beautiful Nova Faith. She’s only 6 months old but, true to her name, she has been a bright light in the lives and hearts of her family and friends. She starting laughing about 3 months ago and, it is the most beautiful sound! She just celebrated her first Christmas and, while it should have been filled with the sound of Nova’s laughter as she sat with her family by a glowing tree, it wasn’t to be. In the days leading up to Christmas, Nova wasn’t herself. She wasn’t lifting her head, she didn’t want to eat, she laid limp and there was no sweet laughter. After 1 Dr. visit, 3 trips the ER, and 2 different diagnosis, we now know that our sweet little Nova is suffering from botulism. On Christmas night she was transported to Children’s Hospital LA where she is currently being treated by the amazing medical staff for botulism. The recovery for botulism, however, is a slow one. She may not be able to come home for several weeks or even months. We are coming alongside the Smith family and trying to raise funds to help them cover medical costs and expenses while their sweet Nova recovers. Anything is greatly appreciated including your prayers for Nova and her family. We know that God is in control! We are hoping and believing that Nova’s sweet little laugh will fill the air soon!
