My name is Nora Ames. I am a cult survivor and activist. For over two years now, I have been psychologically terrorized and cyber-stalked by an individual who has managed somehow to get a restraining order against me in a state I don’t live or work in.

This individual is in multiple legal battles of their own creation, including one brought by the State of California against them.

Their tactics in litigation, in my opinion, are to delay and cause a stranglehold financially for anyone they deem antagonistic to them via unnecessary continuations, changes of venue, and no-shows.

In order for me to win this battle, two-plus years in the making, it is going to require legal expertise and travel to California.

I am asking for your help in this matter to get justice. A restraining order is not a minor thing. It is on your permanent record. It is public information. Having one filed against you can cause irreparable damage for the remainder of your life.

Lawyers are expensive because they’re worth it. The law is complex and needs to be navigated by an expert, especially when dealing with an individual or group. I have been working feverishly, losing sleep, and honestly, my health is tanking in trying to prepare this case myself.
