Help Noelle Beat Cancer

Little did Jennie and Anthony Denis know their lives were about to be turned upside down. In late July 2018, their only child, seven-year-old Noelle, was running a fever. They were shocked when the doctors said there might be a serious problem and sent her immediately for scans and exploratory surgery. Large masses were found on her liver, spleen and lung. Biopsies confirmed everyone's worst fears, Noelle has cancer, specifically non-ovarian Germ Cell Stage 4 cancer.

Noelle’s chemotherapy was started immediately. She is currently in Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

Their little angel is facing a long, hard battle.



Noelle’s chemotherapy cycles will run to November. If things go as planned, doctors give an 82% chance of remission.

If it does not work, there is a second course of a different chemotherapy available, and possibly radiation and surgery.

Little Noelle is doing her best to be brave but she is feeling very overwhelmed by the medical poking and prodding and with the unfamiliar surroundings of the hospital. Not to mention the intense discomfort of chemotherapy on her young body.

Giving 7-year-old Noelle the support she needs for a fighting chance against this terrible stage 4 cancer requires her family to be at her side. Anthony has had to cut his work hours to the bare minimum, and there is no insurance coverage for missed work hours. Jennie was already off work caring for a very ill mother. This leaves them in a dire financial situation.

Family and friends are coming together to help Jennie and Anthony, so that they can concentrate on being at Noelle's side. They need help with lost wages and all the costs associated with a major medical emergency.
