Help Noël & her mother Angie beat Cancer!!!

Donation protected
In October of 2021, after months of mysterious and worsening symptoms, our dear friend Noël Bennetto was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer at age 38. Her doctors estimated she has likely 6 months to a year to live, and she began treatment immediately. As a non-smoker, this diagnosis was a complete shock. She is a bright, loving, and inspiring care-giver to so many in her community and her family and friends are devastated.

Noël is a self employed seamstress, maker, designer, and multidisciplinary artist who relies on the holidays for the bulk of her income. In the middle of her busiest season, she had to put work aside to undergo a series of grueling tests which lead to her very intense diagnosis. Noël is not only fighting for her life battling cancer, she also must survive the day-to-day, pay for ongoing treatment costs, living expenses, food, and housing. Her quality of life would also be improved and likely extended if she had the means to pursue complementary healing therapies while undergoing chemotherapy. Over these last months she has depleted her savings just staying afloat. Noël needs our help to get through this trying time.

In the midst of coping with this devastating diagnosis, her mother Angie, a pillar of strength within her family and community, who has been suffering with health issues over the past years, was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Noël's father and siblings are simultaneously grieving and rallying to try to assist both mother and daughter feel as comfortable and cared for as possible, but it is tough with the financial strain of mounting medical bills and living expenses.

Noël and Angie are gifted mother and daughter indigenous artists who have dedicated their lives to helping others and sharing all they have. As an advocate for those in need, Noël has generously given her time, energy, resources, and even opened her home in support of others. Now it is time we rally around Noël and lift her and her mother up in their hour of need. Even the most humble of offerings would be greatly appreciated and will contribute directly to her comfort and ease as she navigates this situation.

When you contribute to this Gofundme you will be assisting in the payment of medical bills and basic living expenses for both Noël & Angie Bennetto as they seek necessary treatment and quality care.
