Little Noah's Therapy Fund

Donation protected
Since Noah was born in 2014, he's always done things in his own special way, on his own time. He was late to hit every developmental milestone recommended by his doctors, and we just figured it was Noah's way of taking his little old time to do things when he felt like it. He sat up, rolled over, crawled, and walked just a little bit later than he was supposed to. Our concern was around a year old, when Noah had begun to babble and make consonant sounds, but within a week, suddenly stopped vocalizing at all.  His pediatrician shared our concern at Noah's sudden loss of speech function, but we all held out hope that he was just focusing all his energy on growing in other ways, and so we continued to monitor his progress in the following months. By 18 months, unfortunately he hadn't resumed any vocalization. Noah began a routine of speech, occupational and developmental therapies to try and help him catch up, and while he definitely showed some signs of improvement, he still never gained any functional speech.  Noah just turned three, and after two years of doctor visits and in depth medical evaluations, our little guy has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Unfortunately we've found that his issues aren't limited just to communicative speech, but he's also facing difficulties with receptive speech, joint attention and gross motor skills, as well as emotional issues stemming from ASD.  He's started developmental preschool to help him get some time with peers, but it unfortunately doesn't offer all of the intensive therapies he requires to help get him on track, and hopefully speaking one day.  Noah requires full time ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, along with one-on-one Speech, Physical and Occupational therapies. He will also need ongoing medical care, evaluations and diagnostic testing. Noah's mom and I are doing our very best to get him all that he needs to catch up to where he needs to be. Our beautiful boy is perfect to us in every way, he just needs a little more help that we can handle on our own right now. We would be so, so greatful for any help anyone out there can give us to get Noah all the help he deserves.
