Help N'Kayla King Shine Bright!

Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to share some exciting news about our amazing daughter, N'Kayla King! She has been chosen to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathway to STEM this summer at one of four prestigious universities in California. Thank You to her teacher Mr. Browne for applying. He saw how much of a hard worker N'Kayla is. Without him she wouldn't have this opportunity. This is a remarkable opportunity for her to explore her passion for science, technology, engineering, and math, and to develop her leadership skills among peers who share her interests.

The School Fee is $3100, Room and Traveling will be approx.. $2400. The total cost for this incredible experience is $5500. We have a total of $345 raised and need to raise at least the minimum tuition due ASAP. The remainder needed is $2,755 to at least lock her into the school. With your generosity, we can ensure that N'Kayla has the chance to take part in this life-changing program, which begins in July 2025.

Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated, and every little bit helps us reach our goal. Your support will not only help her attend this program but also empower her to pursue her dreams and inspire her future.

Here are a few words from N'Kayla:

Right now, I’m in 5th grade, and I am at the top of my class. Being a good student is really important to me because I know it will help me succeed in the future. I know that I want to become a lawyer. The idea of helping people, solving problems, and standing up for what's right has always inspired me. By staying at the top of my class, I’ll build a strong foundation that will help me when I get to high school, college, and eventually law school. Aside from my academic goals, I also have big dreams for cheerleading. Cheerleading is something I’ve always loved, and it brings me so much joy. I want to be the best cheerleader I can be, and that means working hard to improve my skills, staying strong, and leading by example. I will practice my stunts, routines, and cheers to make sure I’m always improving. I am Co-Captain of my schools cheer team. I believe that being a cheerleader will teach me how to work well with others, stay positive even when things get tough, and be a leader in my community. I have been Student of the Month on numerous occasions as well have been Co-Representative for Student Council. I have also won 1st place in spelling bee.

To achieve both of these goals, I know that I need to stay focused and determined. I will work hard to balance my studies and cheerleading practice, making sure I give my best effort in everything I do. I believe that if I stay dedicated and keep pushing myself, I can achieve my dream of becoming a lawyer and reaching my cheerleading goals. I’m excited about the future and can’t wait to see where all my hard work will take me!
