My name is Christine and I am at a loss right now. I have a 2-year-old baby girl named Nikki that needs help. Her first year was filled with vet visits due to infections inside her body for no apparent reason.

She was diagnosed with a heart murmur as a pup, and for that reason, I couldn’t spay her. She went her second year with no issues until today when she woke up with a swollen belly.

I found out she has a severe infection and an enlarged heart now. The doc diagnosed her as having a congenital hormone imbalance with Pyometra, which is an infection of the uterus. Even though surgery is risky due to her heart, the doc said she will die without a hysterectomy, which is scheduled for the 20th of this month. I have no way to raise the money for this so soon.
