Help Nikki and Andy Klinger Fight

Donation protected
Our Sister Nikki and Andy got married in 2014 after dating for several years , but they have known each other for decades. He is a loving husband, step-father, and brother-in-law to all of us.
At the young age of 47, Andy was diagnosed with melanoma in March of 2017 after being hospitalized for what he thought was an infection in his left thumb. He then went through an amputation and subsequent painful procedure to try and lengthen the remaining portion of his thumb just to be able to do everyday activities.
Following that procedure, his Doctors advised him to go for frequent scans to ensure the cancer had not invaded his body further. Sadly, a few short months after his initial diagnosis, he was found to have several nodules on his scalp, back, neck, and in his lungs. The oncologist he was working with initially gave him positive feedback and reassured him it was “treatable”.  Andy then started to undergo clinical trials/treatments for the spreading melanoma. Unfortunately, the cancer was not responding to these treatments and instead has spread aggressively throughout his body and is causing widespread pain. Some of that pain localized in his hip area which was determined to be a tumor in the bone. He underwent two surgeries to alleviate the pain , however he is still having difficulty walking .  As is common with most cancer patients , he has also lost his appetite and is down almost 50 pounds.
Most recently, it was determined the melanoma has spread to his brain and he was given the devastating news he may have 6 months or less to live. But , for those of you who know Andy, he is not one to go down without a fight. He has already started chemotherapy in a last-ditch effort to prolong his time here with us. Next week he plans on undergoing a gamma-knife procedure for the lesions in his brain.
Nikki,  has temporarily stopped working in order to provide 24 hour care for Andy during this trying time. We want to do everything in our power to help support them both emotionally and financially. We are hoping for a miracle and ask that you say a prayer for Andy and our family! If possible, Please join us in our effort to alleviate the financial burden so they can focus on his treatment and enjoy what minimal time they may have left.
