Hello my name is Nikia the founder of JoyVanna Candles. We specialize in handmade scented candles and home fragrances.

I started making candles during the pandemic as a hobby, a way to keep myself busy in a fun and creative way. As time went on it became my therapy and made me want to explore and learn more about the science and process behind the creativity. I didn't know at the time a simple candle making kit would lead me down a path that has not only become a passion but my livelihood.

Since starting my journey I have expanded the JoyVanna brand beyond scented candles, now offering massage oil candles, room/linen sprays and diffusers. My goal is to create a business that fosters generational wealth and a legacy rooted in passion, diligence, determination, courage and love. The name JoyVanna was created to honor two women that exemplify what my company is based on, Joy the first three letters in my late mothers middle name Joyce and Vanna the last four letters of my late mother in laws name Giovanna. Both women were the embodiment of strength and courage.

With your help I will be able to grow my business and share my products on a larger scale. All donations will be used for new equipment and supplies to continue producing the products that have a positive impact in peoples everyday life. I have seen my candles put smiles on faces whether it be the smell or the story behind the candle.

Sometimes in life you are unable to do it alone, you need help and a village to lean on for support. Over the years life has taught me that asking for help is not a form of weakness but a much needed strength to be open and honest with myself to admit when I do need support.
