Meet Nika, one of our beloved Shine Scholars at SHINE YOUR LIGHT FOUNDATION - Philippines.

She’s a bright, determined young woman with a dream for her future — but she also lives with epilepsy, a condition that requires daily medication to prevent dangerous seizures.

The challenge? Nika comes from a poor family in the Philippines. Her life-saving medication costs $80 per month — three times her father’s monthly salary. For her family, keeping up with this expense is simply impossible.

Without consistent treatment, Nika risks serious health complications and a future cut short. With it, she can continue her education, pursue her dreams, and live the full life God intended for her.

Our Goal

We want to raise $3,840 — enough to fully fund Nika’s medication for the next 4 years.

That’s:

• $80/month × 12 months × 4 years = 4 years of uninterrupted treatment

This amount will give her family peace of mind, keep her healthy, and allow her to focus on her studies and future instead of worrying about affording medicine.
