Help Nicole Mays Fight Stage 4 Endometrial Cancer

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Rachelle and I've been friends with Nicole Mays for almost 30 years.

With all that we have been through with each other, this is the last thing I ever imagined I'd be setting up for her.
While she should be celebrating her new engagement and the start of Rilynn's high school years and cheer, she is instead battling a rare cancer.

As most of you may know, Nicole went in for a hysterectomy on May 6th to have what she thought was only fibroids removed. After surgery she lost a lot of blood which required a blood transfusion and a couple extra nights in the hospital. It wasn't until her biopsies came back after surgery that she was told she has the one of the rarest forms of endometrial cancer.
Nicole's results showed she has High Grade Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma. (ESS)
Endometrial cancer makes up just 1% of cancers, and ESS makes up 1% of all endometrial cancers. Her ob/gyn has only seen five cases of this in his entire career so is relying heavily on the Oncology Surgeon to lead the way in treatment.

Nicole had her appt with her Oncologist just last week (on Rilynn's 14th birthday). She scheduled an operating room and ordered a CT Scan.

While waiting for the results of the CT scan to be sure surgery could be the next step, Nicole ended up at the Emergency Room from recovery complications. During her visit, they reviewed her scans and that is when she was hit with even more devastating news.

The cancer has spread. She now has spots in her lungs, left lymph node, and what was originally thought to be a hernia is most likely also cancer.
Today she was told she is Stage 4.
Surgery is now off the table and she will be starting with Radiation, followed by Chemotherapy.

Nicole has been off work since her surgery and now will be out of work for the foreseeable future. With the possibility of medical bills adding up, household bills, and Rilynn's needs to continue a life as normal as possible, Nicole has humbly and gratefully allowed me to ask for your help in raising funds to take the financial stress off of her and Michael during this extremely emotional time.

We all know Nicole is stubborn and strong as hell....she is ready to put her all into this fight!
