<div>After spending a month in UPenn Presbyterian Hospital with multiple surgeries, this life altering event has left her as a bilateral below the knee amputee with months of recovery and rehabilitation towards prosthetics.

<div>Nicole is a teacher for a cyber high school in Pennsylvania, teaching health to students across the state. 

</div>

<div>She is currently unable to work. This has caused an unplanned financial hardship on her and her family.

<div>As she adjusts to daily life, she faces immense financial strain from the hospital bills incurred as well as the costs of her prosthesis.
