<div>We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of our dear friend, Nicki Dooms, who has recently been diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 ovarian cancer. Over the past few weeks, Nicki has been struggling with severe bloating and discomfort. After an ER visit, it was confirmed that she has ovarian cancer, and it has progressed to stage 4. Her abdomen is filled with fluid, and every few days, she undergoes procedures to have it drained to alleviate the pressure and help with the pain.

<div>Nicki’s fight has just begun, and she needs all of us by her side. Thanks to the help of one of her closest friends, Tara, Nicki has been able to quickly see specialists at MD Anderson, where her diagnosis was confirmed. She will start chemotherapy and the road ahead will be long, difficult, and filled with challenges.

<div>Nicki and her husband, Ryan, have always been the first to step up and help others. They have always supported their friends and family and given their time, energy, and love to so many people. Now, it is our turn to support them.
