Help Nick to Surgery and Beyond

This fundraiser is for my husband Nick and I, as we battle his Brain Cancer.
We have been fighting this fight for over 2 years, when at the age of only 30, he was diagnosed with a very large stage 3/4 tumor that crosses 3 of the lobes on the right side of his brain.
His tumor was originally thought to be inoperable and he was placed in palliative care as we fought to keep the cancer from advancing. At times he experiences up to 50 seizures a day. They are extremely painful and he is fully aware through every one of them.
After a lot of time and research we found a surgeon that believes he can remove the tumor in 2 surgery's over the next couple years. We learned that Nick had been misdiagnosed. Surgery should have been performed immediately, before any chemotherapy or radiation occurred. He advised us that the tumor must come out within the next year.
Unfortunately he is located 12 hours away making travel and stays more difficult and expensive. His first surgery will be this month as long as everything goes as planned. Then we still have a very long road ahead of us.
We have managed on our own as long as we possibly could but as I myself suffer from uncontrollable seizures and have been unable to hold a job or drive, we are struggling more and more all the time. I am reaching out to the kindness and generosity of others.
Our goal would be to have the income to cover our travels and stays in Montreal for both surgeries, continual follow ups in both Montreal QC and London ON, 2 rounds of rehab and other occupational therapy expenses. There will likely be another regimen of chemotherapy where more costs of travel may incur. Honestly we have no idea of the challenges we will face over the next couple years but we are working hard every day to focus on our love and support and the new found hope that we know will help us win this fight.
There will be many unexpected expenses during this journey as well as the pressure of regular living expenses, all the while neither of us is able to work.
It has already been a long hard road to get to where we are today.
