<div>On their return from medical appointments in Perth recently, Nic and Lyn came home to find their world turned upside down. The recent bushfires in Geraldton have completely destroyed their family home.

<div>Devastatingly, they have lost absolutely everything. They left their home with only the clothes on their backs and the items they took to Perth.

<div>Most heartbreaking of all, they returned to find that their beloved pet cat Smudge did not survive the fire. This loss has left them shattered.
