Ni Ketut is my girlfriend and a devoted single mother of three children, living in Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. As a practicing Christian in a predominantly Hindu village, she is part of a small but vibrant community. Every year, Ni Ketut pours her heart into organizing a Christmas celebration for the children in her neighborhood, especially those who, like her own, are growing up in single-parent households or have lost their parents. Her compassion extends to all children, but she pays special attention to those who are part of the Christian minority, ensuring they feel seen and supported during the holiday season.

 Ni Ketut’s Christmas celebration is a highlight for many local children. She opens her small home to anyone who comes, offering a warm meal and a little Christmas treat to each child. Her generosity and love create a sense of belonging and joy, regardless of background or faith. However, this year, her finances are especially limited, and she does not have enough to fund the celebration on her own. Despite this, her spirit remains strong, and she is determined to make Christmas special for as many children as possible.
