Help Negar fight cancer

Our friend Negar was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that has spread to her bones, lungs, liver, and brain. She has lost her ability to walk and a part of her vision. So far doctors have conducted several tests and scans including full-body MRI, brain scans, spine CT scan, a bone biopsy, and other tests to confirm the extent of the spread of cancer. The doctors are conducting more tests to decide the course of treatment for her. So far they have mentioned brain and lung surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.

The tough part is, because of COVID19 her family can't travel to Canada and be with her while she is dealing with all this. She is an international student at Seneca College with big dreams. Instead, she has to fight cancer and survive first. The last thing she should be worried about is, her finances and the ability to pay the hospital bills. Unfortunately, the private medical insurance offered to the international students only covers a small portion of her medical bills.

For now, we have set the goal for $50,000, but most likely the cost will be way more than that. We will have to increase the goal when the treatment advances. We will keep you updated on Negar and her progress.
