<div>Aracelis is currently on the waiting list for a heart transplant. At her young age of 23, she was discovered with CHF congestive heart failure that happened due to a bacteria that Ara contracted while working; part of the long-terms effects was damage to the functionality of her heart. Initially doctors proceeded with the Defibrillator Implant Surgery, combined with prescribed medication, and a healthy lifestyle. After this, Ara’s heart was supposed to be back to a percentage that would allow her to have a somewhat normal life, but after 2 years of following this new system, her heart gave up on her once again and this time doctors were left with no other option than to replace the heart.

<div>To have a heart transplant is complicated enough and there are some circumstances to this. Her lungs, kidneys, and overall health were already giving up on her as well. Aracelis has been enduring this journey since January 18, 2025, with no other news other than needing to wait for a heart and endure the pain and exhaustion until she can get a match for her heart.

<div>During this time spent in the hospital, Aracelis has been through multiples surgeries to try to get her better until her organs work good enough to receive a heart. She has been receiving dialysis and a number of procedures done to make her strong enough to endure a heart transplant. Her last surgery, was a pump implanted in her heart an LVAD. All throughout this process, Aracelis has been receiving disability compensation, but the reality of this economy is that the amount given is not nearly enough to cover her basic expenses.

<div>Aracelis is a strong and amazing human being that is eager to go back to a “normal” life, but in the meantime, any help that you can provide will be more than appreciated. Please help Ara with whatever amount you can, since there’s no help or donation too small. Anything will be of great help to sustain Ara. At the moment, she's still in the hospital and in that heart transplant list.
