My name is Ichrak, and one year ago, my family and I got the shocking news that still affects our lives. We discovered that my father has stage 4 metastatic non-small cell lung cancer, which happened suddenly without any notice or symptoms. Unfortunately, nothing could've helped to prevent it. It's been exactly one year today since we discovered this.

He started his treatment and showed us some results, but he's not in a position to be working. He is sick and fragile.

We're a family of 5, including my parents, my two younger brothers and me. As the eldest daughter, I'm trying my best to help my mother.

Ever since my father got sick, my mother found herself doing the most to be able to provide for us. She has a job, but not a permanent one, so the salary can differ significantly, which is not favourable for us knowing the kind of situation we're in right now. In any case, the problem is that her salary is not enough.

Our mental health has been dramatically affected by all this. We have never been that rich, but we have never been in such a situation where we're constantly worried about money. Paying the monthly bills has become a nightmare for us to the point that we're scared of being kicked out. This has never happened to us since my dad was responsible for it, and has never had any problems with our previous landlords concerning this. He has always been a great and honest tenant.

As I said, my father's health is not the best, so he can't work to help us. He forced himself since he worried about money and paying bills, which affected him badly. My mom's health is also concerning. She's in a pre-diabetic stage and can't handle all those responsibilities and pressure alone.

Of course, I thought about helping her financially. Unfortunately, my health is not the best either. As far as I can remember, I have always been anemic. Now, I have severe anemia along with asthma and scoliosis. These few months, my health worsened since I noticed that my oxygen level and blood circulation were not the same anymore. Felling always really tired and weak is nothing new, but having extreme pain in my bones isn't something I'm used to. As I am feeling at the moment, I can't work sadly.

As I explained, we urgently need money to pay the rent, which is extremely expensive and the monthly bills, so basically our living. We need money for the next few months since we won't be able to afford it.

We never asked for anyone's help, but we had no other choice. It's crucial and urgent because we won't be able to move out to a cheaper house until then since the lease for our current home isn't finished.

This fundraising will be used and directed to my mother, who is bearing all the finances, responsibilities and pressure.

We humbly ask for your help, hoping that all our financial and health problems will be resolved as soon as possible. Your support means so much to us, as any amount, in complete honesty, would greatly help us in such a difficult moment. Je m’appelle Ichrak et il y a un an, ma famille et moi avons reçu une nouvelle qui a bouleversé le cours de notre vie. Nous avons découvert que mon père a un cancer du poumon non à petites cellules métastatique de stade 4. Ce dernier s’est produit soudainement sans aucun signe ou symptôme alarmant. Malheureusement, rien n’aurait pu l’empêcher. Cela fait exactement un an aujourd’hui que nous avons découvert cela.

Depuis, il a commencé son traitement et nous a montré des résultats, mais il n’est toujours pas en mesure de travailler. Il reste malade et fragile.

Nous sommes une famille de cinq personnes dont mes parents, mes deux jeunes frères et moi. En tant que fille aînée, je fais de mon mieux pour aider ma mère.

Depuis que mon père est tombé malade, ma mère se retrouve à faire tout ce qui est en son pouvoir pour subvenir à nos besoins. Elle a un emploi, mais comme ce n'est pas un poste permanent cela fait varier son salaire considérablement. Cela n'est pas favorable pour nous compte tenu de notre situation actuelle. Dans tous les cas, il est clair que son salaire n’est pas suffisant.

Notre santé mentale a été considérablement affectée par tous ses rebondissements. Nous n’avons jamais été extrêmement riche, mais nous n’avons jamais été dans une situation telle que celle-ci. Payer les factures mensuelles est devenu un cauchemar pour nous au point où nous avons peur d’être expulsés. Cela ne nous est jamais arrivé lorsque que mon père était le responsable. Il n’a jamais eu de problèmes avec nos anciens propriétaires à ce sujet. Il a toujours été un bon locataire.

Comme je l’ai dit, la santé de mon père n’est pas au top donc il ne peut pas travailler pour nous aider. Précedemment, il s’était forcé parce qu’il s’inquiétait quant au paiement des factures ce qui l’a gravement affecté. La santé de ma mère est également préoccupante. Elle est dans un stade pré-diabétique et ne peut pas gérer toutes ces responsabilités et cette pression seule.

Bien évidemment, j’ai pensé à l’aider financièrement. Malheureusement, ma santé n’est pas la meilleure non plus. Autant que je me souvienne, j’ai toujours été anémique. Maintenant, j’ai de l’anémie sévère avec l’asthme et la scoliose. Ces quelques mois, ma santé a empiré puisque j’ai remarqué que mon niveau d’oxygène et ma circulation sanguine n’étaient plus les mêmes. La fatigue et la sensation de faiblesse n’ont rien de nouveau, mais ressentir une douleur extrême dans mes os n’est pas quelque chose dont j'ai l'habitude. Vu mon état actuel, je ne peux pas travailler malheureusement.

Comme je l’ai expliqué, nous avons un besoin urgent d’argent pour payer le loyer qui est extrêmement cher et les factures mensuelles, soit les dépenses de base. Nous avons besoin d’argent pour les prochains mois, car nous n’avons pas les moyens.

Nous n’avons jamais demandé d'aide à qui que ce soit, mais nous n’avons plus d’autre choix. C’est crucial et urgent parce que nous ne pourrons pas déménager dans une maison moins chère d’ici là puisque le bail de notre maison actuelle n’est pas terminé.

Cette collecte de fonds sera utilisée et dirigée vers ma mère qui supporte toutes les finances, responsabilités et pressions.

Nous vous demandons humblement votre aide en espérant que tous nos problèmes financiers et problèmes de santé seront résolus dès que possible. Votre soutien est très important pour nous.
