When Andrea was becoming an adult and living on her own, she adopted Roxie from the shelter. Roxie has been an extra limb for Andrea, always by her side through every milestone and challenge. Their bond is truly special, and Roxie has brought endless love and comfort to Andrea’s life.

On Friday, 11/21, Roxie was suddenly rushed to the ER and diagnosed with severe pancreatitis that has started affecting the rest of her body. She’s been in the Critical Care Unit ever since, fighting bravely with Andrea as her sole provider. Despite around the clock treatment, Roxie hasn’t shown improvement yet. She requires 24-hour monitoring, specialized medications, and constant supportive care just to keep her stable. The costs are far more than Andrea ever expected, and her vet bills have already surpassed what she can manage alone.

Andrea would do anything for Roxie, but she has quickly reached a point where she needs help.
