My name is Casey. Lead singer for the band Casey Fallen. I’ve spent my life creating music and working in film—my passion has always been to bring art and joy to others. Recently, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The treatments and medications have made it impossible for me to continue working in the creative fields I love, and I’ve had to apply for permanent disability, which is a long and uncertain process. I don't know if I even have enough resources at this point to make it the two year waiting period for a disability decision. On top of my Cancer diagnosis I am being treated for osteoporosis and a serious back injury I have powered through since I was only 29 years old. I am of course hoping to beat this cancer and be able to get some relief so that I can continue in the arts, even if only in a limited capacity.
At the same time, my mom has needed assistance after a major brain surgery to remove a tumor. She’s needed my help every day, and just before Christmas Eve, she was robbed, making the financial situation even more difficult. To make matters worse, the garage door at my house broke and needed urgent repairs, adding another unexpected expense to an already overwhelming time. It's been a very hard last year for me to say the least.
I’m reaching out for help to cover bills, medical expenses, and to help my Mom in her hard times. She only has me in this world and has always been here for me. I’ve never asked for help before—usually, I’m the one lending a hand to others. It’s humbling to be on the other side, but I truly believe in the kindness of people. Your support will not only help my Mom and I get through this challenging period, but it will also allow me to continue creating music and sharing my art with the world. Anyone who helps will be cherished and celebrated in my artistic journey—not just as a fan, but as a new friend in life. Thank you so much for any and all support.
