Megan

As most of you know, on Monday Oct 8th, Megan was in her front yard on Furman Blvd. As she was trimming her yard, a young man fell asleep at the wheel, jumped the curb and ran over her and dragged her down to the end of the median. She was rushed to University Hospital's Trauma Team. Both legs are broken as well as her pelvis, ribs, clavicle, jaw, eye socket and fractured skull. She also had a brain bleed. She's already had 2 surgeries. One to put pins in and to brace her pelvis and the other to repair her clavicle. Once she is stable enough she will be moved to an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility.
As you can imagine, she's in a lot of pain and has a long road to recovery. She does not have Short Term or Long Term Disability coverage. She will be off work for quite some time and you know the medical bills will start piling up before she even gets home. Friends...she needs our help. If we could help ease her pain by taking some of the financial burden from her it would certainly help her mental and emotional recovery. Every penny that is donated will go straight to help Megan.
