Help needed for drunk driver victim

Donation protected
On March 9, 2023, Jessica Alves, mother of a 10 year old girl, was a victim of a drunk driver accident. A vehicle coming 85mph hit Jessica’s new van on the left back side. Pamela Farfan, her wife, was driving behind her keeping a safe distance and saw the accident happening in front of her eyes. Jessica’s car overturned multiple times, and as soon as it stopped moving, Pamela went to check on Jessica since she was still conscious screaming for help. The drunk driver, got out of his car and didn’t even bother to check on the accident he cause. Fortunately the police came quickly, and as soon as they arrived they put the drunk driver under arrest since he was under the influence of either alcohol or drugs. With several lacerations and broken bones, Jessica was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center via helicopter.

She broke both her femurs, three different fractures in her pelvis, broke both ankles, contusion of lungs, liver laceration, laceration of right knee and as well as brain embolism. Unfortunately due to all these fractures and traumas caused to her body, Jessica is currently in a coma in critical condition. She went through several different surgeries in the same day.

Doctors are closely monitoring Jessica’s brain, since she’ve had seizure due to the accident. The doctors also said that only time will tell what effect this have on Jessica’s neurological functions.

Jessica has a long healing process ahead of her, she is currently in ICU on life support.

Our family is asking for prayers for our Jessica to heal and get better day by day and any donations you are able to provide to help her medical, loss of work expense and life expenses.

Jessica and her daughter moved to the USA in 2018 looking for a better opportunity in their lives. After working very hard her entire life, Jessica finally was able to start her and her wife’s first mobile carwash company, achieving their american dream together. They bought their first van to use on their company and went to Miami to get it properly set up for their needs. Jessica was driving the van and Pamela was behind her driving their personal car, coming back to pick up their daughter from grandma’s. And unfortunately on that trip the drunk driver hit Jessica. Needles to say, this event will alter her life forever.
