Nathan Indelicato, a lifelong resident of Pembroke, Massachusetts, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) at just 28 years old—a cancer usually seen in people decades older. What began as fatigue and night sweats quickly turned into a life‑changing diagnosis, delivered while his fiancée, Stephanie, was pregnant with their first child.

Nathan is known throughout Pembroke for his dedication, leadership, and heart. A multi‑sport athlete at Pembroke High School, he spent most of his hockey career with the Boston Advantage program and later played collegiately at Franklin Pierce University. On and off the ice, Nathan was the teammate everyone could count on.

In February 2026, Nathan learned he needed immediate treatment. After careful research, he enrolled in a clinical trial at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston—one of the top centers in the world for aggressive CLL. There is no cure for CLL at this time, and Nathan's form is aggressive. This requires him to live in Texas for one to two years while undergoing intensive clinical trials and therapies. Nathan, Stephanie, their daughter Palmer, and the baby due in September have relocated to Houston so they can stay together during this fight.
