My name is Nathan, and for the first time in my life, I am experiencing homelessness. Over the past month, I’ve been living on the street or moving between one-night shelters. The shelters have strict admission times, and once I’m inside, I can’t leave until morning. Every day, I have to carry all my belongings with me, which makes it nearly impossible to attend job interviews in the restaurant industry—the field I know best and am trying to get back into.

 Having a vehicle would be truly life-changing for me. It would give me a safe place to sleep, keep me out of the rain, and allow me to store my luggage securely. With a car, I could get around town more easily, attend job interviews, and even start working as a delivery driver for DoorDash or Uber Eats to make ends meet. This step would help me regain my independence and stability during this incredibly tough time.

 This would be the best Christmas present I could ever receive to help me get back on my own two feet. I would be eternally grateful for any help whatsoever.
