As many of you know Natalie was recently diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. It was a very sudden and unexpected diagnosis as Natalie is very active and healthy. One day you’re living your life, the next moment you feel a lump, and within a month your whole world turns upside down. Anybody who knows our family knows Natalie as the glue that’s holds us all together. She always has a smile on her face, and will have your back in an instant. She is the life of the party and has the biggest heart. For many years she has put others before herself but for now it’s our turn to support her in her fight against this terrible disease.
When Natalie started this journey the end of January she unfortunately was uninsured. She was paying out of pocket for office visits, biopsy’s, mammograms, ultrasounds, labs. She fought for insurance and by the grace of god is now covered for all future treatment. But you can imagine the medical expenses have already began to pile up.
Recently we were finally given answers on a course of treatment: 18 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by a masectomy and possibly radiation. Natalie is determined to work (anyone who knows her knows she can’t relax for a minute) throughout all of this but I would rather her work because she wants to not because she needs to. One less worry, a little less stress. It’s time to focus on her health.
I think I speak for a lot of us when I say We are blessed to have Natalie in our lives. She is selfless, caring, genuine. She is an amazing wife, mother, sister, Glamma, & friend. She takes care of everyone else- it’s time for us, as her family and friends, to gather around her and show how much support and love we can.
This money will go to any expenses that should arise during Natalie’s treatment. (Medical costs, home care, groceries, bills, etc)
Now let’s share with all of our friends and show this amazing woman she has a team rallying around her!
