<div>My name is Nicole Martinez. This is my sister <strong>Natalie Martinez</strong>, a talented 29 year old artist. As many of you may know by now, Natalie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in May 2023. In the span of 9 months she has underwent 12 rounds of chemotherapy as well as a major surgery that had removed 10 out of 11 tumors she had. After a difficult and lengthy recovery, Natalie was able to complete her first round of treatment in February of 2024 with hopes of being in remission. Unfortunately on June 17 , 2024, we were given the devastating news that Natalie's cancer has spread again with a total of 7 tumors now. Because of how aggressive and quickly it has spread in such a short amount of time, she will have to undergo a new type of chemotherapy with the possibility of being a candidate of any clinic trials that may benefit her health. As you may imagine, the financial toll of medical expenses, travel for therapy, and everyday expenses can be difficult to maintain in this situation. We kindly ask for any help to support Natalie and our family in this difficult time of need.

</div>
<div>After 4 rounds of chemo, my latest scan revealed that my body wasn’t responding to the treatment. My tumors have grown and new ones have developed bringing my new total to 12 tumors. After a small break, I’ve decided to continue with this treatment in hopes that it starts working. It’s been a lot to process but I’m rolling with the punches. My team of doctors in Salinas and Stanford are working frantically to find any and all treatments, clinical trials and resources to beat this. Maintaining my faith and remaining positive have been my only focus these days. Thank you everyone so much for your donations, prayers and beautiful messages. They continue uplifting my spirit and they truly mean the world to me.
