<div>My name is Narmeen Redwan, I am 23 years old and I live in the Gaza Strip with my family of eight. I am studying nursing, and this is supposed to be my final year at university.

<div>We used to live a good life, but everything turned into a tragic and bitter reality after October 7, 2023. On this date, a war broke out in my beloved city of Gaza, and my university was destroyed along with my dreams, passion, and ambition as the academic year was lost for all students due to the war and its ongoing effects to this day.

<div>We were displaced from the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, leaving behind our beautiful home filled with cherished memories. Now we sleep in a tent without protection from the cold, heat, insects, and infections. Our lives lack the basic necessities – no water, no food, no cooking tools.

</div>
<div>Our lives and jobs have been severely impacted, with all our sources of income from factories, companies, and other means destroyed. This war also caused damage to our home, leading us to be displaced several times in search of survival. Unfortunately, there is no safe place in Gaza.
</div>

<div>The worst part is the difficult health condition of my father, which the war worsens day by day. We live in very miserable conditions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Therefore, I am reaching out to our friends, family, and sympathetic strangers in hopes that together we can achieve my goal of saving my future and living safely with my family. Coordinating to cross the Egyptian border costs $5,000 per person, which is an extremely high amount.
</div>
